Spherical Roller Bearings
Spherical Roller Bearings are designed to work in applications where angular misalignment exists either from mounting or from shaft deflection and handle relatively heavy radial loads and some axial loads in either direction. They are also extremely resistant to shock loads and their self-aligning feature allows full capacity loading despite shaft deflection. They are very similar in purpose to Self-Aligning Double Row Spherical Ball Bearings, except the Spherical Roller Bearings are designed to be more robust and carry heavier loads but at lower maximum speeds. Most Spherical Roller Bearings are designed with two rows of rollers, allowing them to handle heavy radial loads.
Ball and Roller Bearing manufactures Spherical Roller Bearings according to ABMA and ISO industry standards and are the same in form, fit and function as those manufactured by SKF, FAG, NTN and others. Spherical Roller Bearings are available in many sizes ranging from 25mm I.D. to 360mm O.D. All our Spherical Roller Bearings are manufactured in the U.S.A.
